The School of ST.George Place attaches great importance to Chinese and Chinese culture courses. Before the start of the school, volunteer teachers Yishu Che and local teachers returned to the school August 15th to decorate the Chinese classroom for the new semester. The layout and decoration of the classroom was all made by the volunteer teacher Yishu Che and local teachers.

Outside the classroom, the culture is rich and colorful. At the time of the opening ceremony and the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Confucius Institute at the Texas Southern University presented special Chinese gifts to the school. After the volunteer teacher Yishu Che and the local Chinese teachers decorated the wall with this Chinese gifts, they exuded a strong Chinese charm. After the Mid-Autumn Festival activities, the volunteer teachers Heng Zhang and Yishu Che of Texas Southern University Confucius Institute made the layout of the Chinese corridor. The decoration work won the appreciation of the whole school teachers and students.
