Mandarin Immersion Magnet School is a teaching point for the Chinese volunteer teachers Yin Ying and Qi Peng Le. Here, the school adopts bilingual teaching. Students will have half the time to learn Chinese everyday. Chinese, math and science classes are all taught in Chinese.

Mandarin Immersion Magnet School not only focuses on classroom teaching of students, but also provides enhanced intervention for students who need counseling so that they can perform group counseling on a one-on-one or one-on-one basis with teachers in charge of counseling as soon as practicable. Yin Ying, a volunteer teacher of TSUCI, is responsible for tutoring in Chinese.

TSUCI attaches great importance to the cultivation of volunteer teaching skills and often organizes various teaching sharing sessions and training so that volunteer teachers can benefit greatly. Yin Ying, the volunteer teacher, applies the learned skills to teaching practice so that students can improve their Chinese proficiency most rapidly. She said: "Being able to apply what I learned in my teaching of Chinese has given me a sense of accomplishment that allows Chinese to slowly germinate in children 's hearts."
